Churches-Watts Cemetery Chapel-Compton-Surrey.

Whilst in Surrey, off I popped to visit Watts Cemetery Chapel. Apparently it is quite famous, yet I had heard nothing about it.

Down a country lane, surprisingly called Down Lane, you can’t really see it until you have parked up. Then there is a small climb up to the brilliance of so much terracotta.

If you are ever in the area then do go and visit. The Watts Gallery is further up the road but I didn’t have time to visit. I went in January and dropped on with the low sun as it completely illuminated the chapel.
