Beaches- Selsey Bill-West Sussex.

Absolutely freezing and absolutely deserted. Both good things for a winter walk along the beach.

Apart from sliding down the steps on very slippery stones, I found my very first Sea mouse. I thought it was a washed up dogs toy as its bristles looked like wool. It was beautiful even in its rubbery state. I put it back into the sea hoping it would revive but it rolled back up the beach.

The other thing was the ridiculous sunset and change in weather. From zero sun, to rain, to golden clouds to blue hail back to white winter sun.

It is a good place for bird spotting but I only saw two gulls battling the wind. I had no biscuits in my pocket for them so I went home.
